1. Hysterical Groups of Dancing People

"Dancing mania" occurred in 13-17th century Europe. Groups of people danced wildly through the streets, often foaming at the mouth and speaking in tongues until they collapsed. This was all due to consuming poisonous rye bread made from ergot-infected grain or the Claviceps purpurea fungi, which today is used to produce the psychedelic drug, LSD.

2. Animals Raining down from the Sky

Raining animals is a meteorological phenomenon reported in many countries. In a rainfall fish, frogs, or birds drop out of the sky. Sometimes the animals survive, other times they're frozen or enclosed in blocks of ice. The most recent occurrence was the rain of frogs and toads in Serbia (2005).

3. Mirror Mirror..

It turns out we have a little something in common with Narcissus, the mythological fellow who fell in love with his own reflection! Scientists at the University of Liverpool tested and concluded that our brains favor people with familiar faces. This may explain that common phenomenon of couples looking like they could be siblings!

4. Amazing Pigs ..no wonder they're Thrilled!

A pig’s orgasm lasts for 30 minutes.. somehow it's something we don't want to ponder on for too long, but the reports in from the Dept. of Animal Sciences Purdue University; Swine Genetics Int.; and Queensland Gov. Primary Ind. and Fisheries, have concluded their findings from studying the collection of boar semen.

5. Are you a Germ Phob?!

More germs are transferred shaking hands than kissing. 'Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences' even found that your forearm has 182 species of bacteria with 8% of them unknown! Eww.. that's bad news! Okay.. "Kissing" it is, from now on!

6. Butterflies are Amazing Creatures

Did you know they taste with their hind feet, and their taste sensation works on touch?! This allows them to determine whether a leaf is edible. As if turning into a gorgeous flying creature from a homely caterpillar wasn't enough!

7. What.. we eat insects unknowingly?!

The average person accidentally eats 430 bugs each year. BUT harm actually came to a man after winning a live bug-eating contest in Florida.. where afterwards, he was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead! Then.. it seems it's healthier for us to eat bugs unconsciously ..we'll settle for that!

8. The Government "Gay" Bomb

"The Gay Bomb" is an informal name for a potential non-lethal chemical weapon, which a U.S. Air Force research laboratory speculated about producing. The BBC news reported that documents stated a strong aphrodisiac could be dropped on enemy troops, ideally one which would also cause "homosexual behavior"! Wait, why?

9. Nose Picking Goodness..

When you thought it couldn't get worse ..Picking one's nose and eating it might be healthy! Some research suggests that it may be an activity, which exposes the digestive system to bacteria accumulated in the mucus, thereby helping to strengthen the immune system. Could this be why kids naturally do it so often?!

10. You can Hypnotize Chickens..

A chicken can be put into a trance by holding its head down against the ground, and continuously drawing a line with a stick or a finger. Start at its beak and extend straight outward in front of the chicken. It will remain immobile for 15 sec. to 30 min., continuing to stare at the line.. Poor thing ..don't try it!
